It always starts with a market analysis and a brainstorming process.
Then it goes on paper, as drawings come to life in order to express as much as possible, with as few symbols as possible. Knowing the niche and understanding its dynamics, its philosophy can be both inspiring and overwhelming. Therefore we tried multiple concepts and symbols, in our pursuit of the logo design that would best express the brand’s personality. But somehow we kept coming back to the most basic and recognizable icon when it comes to houses and buildings: a triangle.
What complimented the choice for this figure was also the fact that the triangle itself has its own meanings – for Greeks it was a symbol for doors and entrances, while other cultures associated it with balance, with action or with masculine power.
By combining the first letters of the words that name the brand, Construction and Architecture, we created a solid logo mark which is supported by a slightly customized logotype. In order to respect and enhance the balance given by the triangle, we used the golden spiral to set the proportions.
